High Pressure Homogenizers for Cell Lysis. Our industry-leading technology can efficiently lyse multiple cell types whilst maintaining cell contents quality and purity, including sensitive proteins.

Cell Lysis Homogenizers

Our unique HPH systems offer advantages over the following cell lysis methods - sonication, enzymatic / chemical lysis / freeze thaw ... and other methods also.

Cell Lysis - our advantages

Our versatile systems are easier to scale-up to production volumes and offer less time-consuming processing.

Increased cell disruption efficiency which may result in higher output and better yields of cell contents.

Our higher pressure capability is more effective at breaking open cells with tough walls - for example some Yeast cells (Pichia), Bacteria (Staphylococcus) and plant cells - e.g creation of nanocellulose.

Sophisticated temperature control options - pre-process or at the point of lysis or for rapid post processing cooling.

Maintaining cell contents quality and purity (change).

When compared to sonication less heat is generated, less noise and less aerosols.

Process volumes from 275ml per minute / 16 l/h in the Lab to in excess of 1000 l/h for production systems.

Easy to use and clean. CIP and SIP capacity. Provision of DQ /IQ /OQ documentation.

Adjustable pressure from 1500 psi up to ultra high - 60,000 psi / 4100 bar / 410 Mpa
